Durrell came to us knowing we had some great footage of thier headquarters and overeas activity in our film library to produce a special 50th anniversary DVD for Durrell’s Party at the Palace.

Spike’s team added voiceover and interviews supplied by Durrell to produce a special film that showcased the Trust’s work to an audience of rich and famous at Buckingham Palace earlier this month.

The audience included HRH Princess Anne, Patron of the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust.

The film includes comments from Sir David Attenborough and John Cleese about the important conservation work Durrell carries out around the world, saving species from extinction.

Durrell’s PR and Website Manager, Caron Glover, who commissioned the film said, "Everyone loved the DVD and Princess Anne was craning her neck to see it, but Lee told her not to worry as she has been given her own copy. Stephen Fry was there and some of the wealthiest people in London now have their own copy too. It was a career highlight for me and I can’t thank you guys enough for being brilliant to work with."

The Spike team wish Durrell every success for the next 50 years and beyond. For more information about Durrell visit www.durrell.org.
