Mines Awareness Trust Commercial

Spike have produced a new Mines Awareness Trust Commercial which will be screened on ITV1 during landmine action week In November.
Spike director Liam Le Guillou says, "In a world where we are bombarded by terrible scenes on the news every day, we hope the advert will strike a chord with people and they will support the charity's work."
The concept behind the advert is to remind people in this country that they have freedom of movement and can let their children play in open spaces. This is simply not possible in places like Kosovo as seven year old Endret Hyseni found out to his expense. He lost his leg along with any chance of a decent future the moment he stepped on a landmine, years after the war had ended.
