Hamburg Solar News
Friday 16 September 2011, 06:09am
We recently traveled to Hamburg with client PV Tech who we have been working with now for a number of years. They are the top publisher in the Solar industry business market. Hamburg was the setting for the European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference

Our job in Hamburg is to produce a few simple films, which are edited and played out on the same day so requires us to have a mobile edit suite on site. We also shoot many interviews with the senior executives from the major businesses in the industry. These get released on www.pv-tech.org in the weeks after the event.
The exciting development this year is that we have started to produce a weekly news programme, which goes out every Friday to the industry. You can see the programme from Hamburg by following this link http://www.youtube.com/user/photovoltaicsint#p/a/u/2/9v-LrmKUSug
This is the first of its kind for the industry and produced, filmed and edited by us on a Thursday in our studio. The feedback from delegates in Hamburg was very positive and thankfully the client was also delighted. Some of their comments are below
Personally, I am VERY proud of this and am looking forward to what we can achieve with it n future – every single person I have been presenting it was well impressed, so I think you can all be proud of yourselves Joy-Fleur Brettschneider Marketing & Operations Director

Sile Mc Mahon Managing Editor
The project has been a huge team effort both within Spike from the conception of the idea to making the graphic studio, setting the news structure and setting out the workflows to deliver this every week under a tight timeframe.
Spike Managing Director Warren Mauger said;
“This has been really rewarding as it has involved a lot of talented people working together from PV Tech and Spike. We have started at a good standard visually and editorially but will continue to improve the programme every week”
