Spike Productions has taken on Alex Bond as part of the technical team based in Jersey.

The 32 year old has more than eight years of experience in television and DVD production, having worked on a wide variety of broadcast programmes filmed all over the world and aired on the Travel Channel, UKTV, and most of the major regional ITV 1 stations.
Director Liam Le Guillou says "We are delighted to add Alex to our very talented team he has a fantastic range of skills including sound recording, editing and camera work which will complement the existing team’s vast experience and add to the quality of work we are already producing".
Alex has also worked on numerous corporate projects for many blue chip clients and will continue to do so with Spike’s ever growing portfolio of businesses requiring a range of recruitment films, internal communications and television commercials.
Alex commented on his appointment, "Freelance work was good but I wanted to get back into a company working full time applying everything I have learned in the industry. Given the fact that Spike is a growing company in Jersey and Guernsey operating on a similar level to some of the best companies in the UK it meant I didn’t have to look out side of the island for work."
Alex will be using his skills in a variety of ways helping out on location, but primarily it is his considerable editing experience that will be used as Spike continues to experience high volumes of work in the local corporate DVD production market.
Spike’s Jersey Managing Director Liam Le Guillou said, "We are continuing to expand our services and our client list. Alex has already settled into the way we do things at Spike and will become a valuable asset. All of us at Spike strive for excellent customer service and fantastic production values and these are principles that I know Alex will be able to deliver."
Spike is in the progress of a major office refurbishment at new premises in the centre of St Helier and Alex’s appointment comes just ahead of a major physical expansion for the company.
