Institute of Directors' Guernsey Debate 2010 - Virtual Studio Report

In September 2010 Spike was commissioned for the fourth year running to produce content for the Annual Institute of Directors debate in Guernsey.

This debate event opening film was made to look like a news journalist reporting from a virtual studio with graphics added to reinforce facts and figures.

Spike’s graphics expert, Dan, created the studio and graphics and former broadcast journalist Phil presented the script which was also researched and written by us.

The film takes a look at Guernsey’s economy and focuses on four areas:

• Economic performance
• Regulation and legislation
• The islands uniqueness
• Guersney’s social fabric

The aim was to paint a picture of Guernsey and identify where the island punches above its weight and where it can improve.
